Dr. Katrina Chen grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Katrina attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. After dental school, she worked in private practice where she developed her passion working with children. After three years, she decided to continue her education, pursuing a specialty in pediatric dentistry at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. During her time in Philadelphia, she learned many advanced pediatric dental techniques and treatment options, and excelled in providing safe oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia for patients who needed it. Dr. Katrina’s goal is to be able to make all of her patients and their families feel as comfortable as possible while also delivering the highest quality of care.
After spending five years in the Pennsylvania snow, Dr. Katrina and her husband, Lee, just couldn’t wait to get back to sunny Arizona. She enjoys spending time outside with her sons, Greyson and Noah. Dr. Katrina loves baking, traveling, biking and exploring new restaurants in the area.

Dr. Mason Welch loves helping kids feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about visiting the dentist. He enjoys all aspects of pediatric dentistry, but especially building relationships with families and creating positive dental experiences for children from an early age.
Dr. Welch believes that a little patience, humor, and fun can go a long way toward making the dental office a place kids actually enjoy visiting.
Originally from Gilbert, AZ, Dr. Welch is happy to be back in Arizona with his wife and their three children. When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll usually find him spending time with his family, reading a good novel, working out, or building LEGO with the kids. He also speaks fluent Portuguese and is always excited when he gets the chance to use it with patients and their families.

Outside of the office, she loves exploring different cultures, discovering new foods, and learning from the people and places around her. When Phoenix’s weather cools down, you’ll most likely find her exploring one of the many beautiful trails around the Valley with her family.
